ABOUT LIFE MANAGEMENT

A practical system shaped by life itself.

Life Management grew from a continuing effort to understand how aspiration, responsibilities, relationships, projects and everyday actions can belong to one meaningful whole.
It is not a rigid formula for controlling life. It is a flexible framework for seeing more clearly, choosing consciously and acting with purpose.

HOW THE SYSTEM BEGAN

Developed through reflection, practice
and real life.

Life Management did not begin as a theory. It developed gradually through years of trying to understand, organise and live my own life more consciously.
Like many people, I was balancing responsibilities, ambitions, relationships, projects and personal needs. The challenge was not simply finding time for everything. It was seeing how the different parts of life belonged together—and deciding what genuinely deserved attention.
Over time, daily planning expanded into a broader system of yearly goals, monthly priorities, weekly focus and regular review. Life Aspiration emerged as the inner compass above this practical structure: not prescribing every decision, but bringing direction and awareness to how life is lived.
The system continues to evolve through use. It is not intended to make life rigid or perfectly controlled, but to help us respond to changing circumstances without losing sight of the whole.
“I did not create Life Management as a theory. It developed through the continuing effort to understand, organise and live my own life more consciously.”
ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hrishikesh Karov

Hrishikesh Karov is the creator of the Life Management system and the author of Life Management: A Practical Guide for Conscious Living.
His interest in planning grew from practical necessity rather than from a desire to make every part of life predictable. Over the years, he developed and refined ways of organising responsibilities, goals, projects and daily actions while preserving space for awareness, flexibility and personal meaning.
Life Management brings together ideas shaped through personal reflection and long-term practical use. It reflects his continuing interest in the relationship between inner aspiration and outward action—and in how ordinary activities can become part of a more conscious way of living.
His work does not present a universal formula for success. It invites each person to adapt the system to their own circumstances, responsibilities and path.
PRINCIPLES BEHIND THE WORK

A system designed to support life—not control it.

Life Management is built on a few simple principles that guide both the book and the practical system.

01 — SEE LIFE AS A WHOLE

Responsibilities, relationships, aspirations and personal needs do not exist separately. Understanding their connections helps us choose where our attention is genuinely needed.

02 — PLAN WITH REALISM

Planning should respond to actual time, energy, responsibilities and changing circumstances. Its purpose is to support meaningful action, not create another source of pressure.

03 — ACT CONSCIOUSLY

Any action can support your Life Aspiration when it is carried out with awareness, purpose and the right attitude. Meaning is found not only in what we do, but also in how we do it.
